About the Event

Location:  Cat Mountain (In Tucson Mountain Park)

Course:  This is a score-O, so you can visit as many of the approximately 25 controls as you wish, as long as you are back within 2 hours. About half the control points form a nice trail loop of about 3.7km. All these controls are very near the trail. So a novice adult should be able to complete that loop in about two hours.  The remainder of the controls are well off-trail. Total distance for advanced runners to get all the controls will be 8.1 km, and will require mostly off-trail travel.

Map:  1/10,000-scale maps will be provided.

Schedule:

!!! There is a 20 minute walk to the start area.

7:30 - 8:30 Check in.

8:00 First chance to start.

9:00 Last chance to start.

11:00 Courses close and control retrieval begins.

Registration: Pre-registration is required in order to keep an eye on crowd size and prepare the right number of maps. See the "Fees" section below for information on coupon codes to use for member and junior pricing. See who has already signed up.  Registration closes at noon on Saturday, November 20th.
