About the Event

On Saturday September 23, 2023 come join us at Lakeside Parkfor a fun Street/Park Score-O.

Location:  Lakeside Park and the nearby neighborhood. This is a very interesting area with curvy streets and lots of features.

Directions and Parking: From Golf Links, go south on Pantano 0.5 mile to Stella. Go east on Stella 0.5 mile to the park entrance on your left. Park in the first lot near Stella. GPS: 32.184561, -110.819089. Start will be at the picnic table just east of the parking lot next to a small play area.

Course: You can visit any or all of the approximately 30 controls as long as you are back within 90 minutes. You are not required to visit all the controls, so you can go as fast or as slow as you wish. Total distance to get all controls is about 8k. Same course for both foot or bike. Runners and bikers can easily get them all. Walkers can probably get half or more. The course is appropriate for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

Question/Answer Clues instead of Punches:Instead of control markers and punches, at each control your clue sheet will ask a question, like a scavenger hunt. All you need to do is circle the correct answer based on the clue. There will be no riddles or tricks, the correct answer will be obvious if you are at the control.

Maps: The map will be a USGS orthophoto (like an aerial photograph). Scale 1/4800.Maps will be provided to all participants at the event site.
