Broadmoor Street-O

Malvern Plaza on the south side of Arroyo Chico at Malvern - southwest of Broadway & Country Club, along the Arroyo Chico bike route -  is possibly Tucson's sweetest pocket park. Join us there for a 90 minute Score-O on Sunday, March 12.

During a Score-O, you find as many control locations as possible in any order in a fixed amount of time - which will be 90 minutes. This is also a Street-O where the controls are set in a residential neighborhood. Do not set foot on private property (no cutting across!) and watch out for traffic. Respect the 'hood and keep voices down. 

Control locations will be marked on your map. Answer the multiple choice question about something in the control circle. This will be the lowest tech event imaginable: you'll mark your answer on a piece of paper and a human will total your score. Find results on the club website at tucsonorienteeringclub.org

Preregistration is required and closes at 5 pm Saturday, March 11. There will be no on site registration. 

Fees:

• Adults: $8 (member), $12 (non-member)
• Juniors (11-20): $6
• Kids (0-10): free w/adult

Coupon Codes to use at Registration:

• "AZClub" for adult members of TSN (Tucson) or GPHXO (Phoenix)
• "Junior" for juniors 11-20.
• "KID" for children 10 and under (please register even though it's free—we need a headcount and a waiver for each participant).

Bring a compass or rent one for $1. 

Start your course 9:00-10:30 am. 90 minute course limit. Overtime penalty of 10 points/minute. Course closes at noon.
