About the Event
Youth Orienteering
Date: Saturday December 6th.
Time: Check in from 8am, courses open by 8:30am, youth courses close 1:30pm.
Location: Catalina State Park Flycatcher Group Campsite.
Cost: $5 per child. Kids under 8 can do Animal Orienteering for free while older kids play with maps. Fees can be paid via cash or check (made out to Tucson Orienteering Club) at the event, or via PayPal in advance.

Hey grown-up TSN members! Stick around after the Catalina State Park Youth Orienteering Day for more FREE, members-only, ORIEN-TRAINING!
Set your compasses and get your GPS tracks ready to see how well you can stay on course for a Line-O, with your choice of regular or contour-only maps. We’ll also offer a guided map walk for the Line-O if you want to talk route choice and strategy along the way. If you prefer, you can ignore the big features and narrow your focus on a Corridor-O! OR if you’re extra speedy, do both! Each option will be a fun test of skills!
Schedule: Starts from 1:00pm - 3:00pm; courses close at 5:00pm.
Registration: Please use this FORM to register. Registration closes at 12pm Friday December 5th.
Directions and Parking: Catalina State Park, Flycatcher Group Area.
Don’t forget your Garmin watch, phone app, or similar, for Line-O and Corridor-O tracking.
