Learn to orienteer!
This is a hands-on introduction to the sport of orienteering. After this session you'll be armed with the skills you need to attend one of our regular events, including a basic understanding of orienteering maps and courses, as well as orienteering event logistics.
This class involves a short "classroom" portion followed by a group map hike in the gentle terrain of Greasewood Park. Those who would like to try their hand at running a short course on their own will also have a chance to do that.
Details: Cost: $10. Pre-registration is required. You'll receive more detailed information (where to meet, what to wear/bring) in an email a day or two before the class.
