Day 1 - Fay Ridge Trailhead
Mostly clear skies and beautiful forest welcomed 18 lucky orienteers for the debut of the new Fay Ridge map. Today's two-hour score course offered 17 controls, and almost half of the participants managed to nab them all inside the time limit. The beautiful terrain off of Lake Mary Rd received high praise as a place to prance through the forest.
Big thanks to Ron Birks and Gary Hickey for both hanging and retrieving controls. Also helping with retrieval were Alan Craig, Greg Lennon, and Kathleen Lennon.
Day 2 - Fay Canyon Road
Thanks to Gary Hickey for control pickup. Nobody was struck by lightning.
