Thanks to Hurricane Hilary, we had a cloudy morning for 24 orienteers to head out on the one hour score course in the neighborhoods just south of Broadway, between Alvernon and Swan. Most folks chose to go on foot, though we had a few participants on bikes. It was possible to clear the course in one hour, especially by bike, and several people did so, logging just under five miles in the process. Several people seemed to be having so much fun that they were out over the deadline, suffering large penalties.
Much thanks to Tori Campbell, visiting briefly from Massachusetts, for jumping in to help with starts, and to Lukas Luis for the lemonade stand.
