A relatively cool morning greeted the participants at Greasewood Park the morning of Saturday, October 25th. The Tucson sun would come out soon enough to heat up the day but the event began on a pleasantly crisp fall note.
Approximately three dozen runners participated on the three courses set by Alan Craig. The long, with eighteen controls, was won by Hana Myers. Cristina Luis followed in second. Logan Osborn came in first on the short, ten control, course followed by Joe Plassmann. The first finisher on the beginning course was non-beginner Billie Braimah assisting true beginner friend James Higgs who finished close behind. Fun was had by all. And, in a particularly pokey, cactus-laden setting, relatively few sticky incidences occurred.
