A happy group of orienteers converged on Ramada 17 at Reid Park this morning for a couple of fun sprint courses designed by Annie Martin. Orienteers could run the course normally, taking the map with them, or entrust a partner to do the navigating for them. Six brave teams participated in the cell-phone orienteering option. Some of them were quite successful, and there were no reports of threats of divorce or unfriending as a result of the collaborations. Individuals with stars next to their name were guided by their teammate.
Thanks to Melissa for helping with check-in, Cole with downloads, and to Annie's parents with child minding and control hanging. Control retrieval was handled with alacrity by Marcy & John Beard, Jeff & Nancy Coker, and Katie, Cole, and Jason Osborn.
