About the Event
Beat the heat and come enjoy an early morning event at the University of Arizona campus. A fast and fun sprint course awaits!
Location: School of Music, University of Arizona, Tucson.
Courses: Sprint-O 4.5km (very little climb).
Maps: Paper maps will be provided to all participants at the event site.
MapRun Controls: There will be no physical control flags or epunches. This event uses the MapRun phone app for timing and punch verification. When you get within 15 meters of the control feature, your phone will vibrate/beep. That’s it. We recommend that you download the MapRun app to your iOS or Android phone before the event, but if you forget we can show you how on-site.
Extended Course: If you cannot make it on Aug 23rd, no problem. The course will remain open until Sept 7th. Register normally, then select “Extended Course” when asked. Also leave a note to the registrar that you will run the course after Aug 23rd. You will be sent an email with a link to the map which you can print yourself.
